Jim Gettings raises over £1400 for charity
Motorcycle enthusiast and md of Warendorf AFG Jim Gettings has recently completed the Royal British Legion 1,000 mile saddle sore event, raising a total of £1,435 so far for the charity.

Jim took to the road on his motorbike with aim of completing the 1,000-mile challenge in 24 hours.

He actually completed the grueling journey in 22.5 hours and covered 1,051 miles in total. And then had to make the long 185-mile hike home again!

On his return, Jim said: "I have to say that this was one of the most challenging things I have ever done and possibly one of the most rewarding feelings of achievement.

"Over 250 motorcyclists completed the challenge and no one was injured.

"I would like to thank those of you who have given so generously in support of this cause resulting in raising over £1400."

If you would like to make a donation, you can visit Jim's Just Giving Site until the end of the month: www.justgiving.com/jim-gettings
